Account & Data Deletion Request Process
If you have created an account using cMovie (via Google Sign-In or associated registration), you may request the deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Currently, account and cloud data deletion requests are processed manually by contacting our support team.

How to Submit a Deletion Request

Required Request Information
To verify your identity and ensure the security of user accounts, please include the following details in your email:
- Suggested Email Subject:
cMovie Account Deletion Request
- Registered Email Address: The exact email address associated with your cMovie account (e.g., your Google Sign-In email).
- User Display Name / Identifier: Your profile name or unique user identifier if known.
Data Handling & Local Storage
Cloud & Account Data
Upon verifying your request, associated cloud data linked to your account profile (such as Firestore profile details, community chat contributions, and cloud preferences) will be processed for account deletion.
Local Device Data Removal
Certain application information (such as local watchlists, cached media metadata, app settings, and session data) is stored locally on your device.
Local data stored on your device may generally be removed independently at any time by:
- Opening your Android device's Settings app.
- Navigating to Apps → cMovie → Storage & Cache.
- Tapping Clear Data and Clear Cache.
Legitimate Data Retention Exceptions
As disclosed in Section 10 of our Privacy Policy, depending on the nature of the request, some information may need to be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or other legitimate purposes.
